What makes Royal Traveler so luxurious?
It starts and ends with our devotion to customer service. We are here to make your travel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Our fleet also includes luxury SUVs and sedans (Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Suburban, Mercedes S, Audi A8 or similar). With Royal Traveler Direct, you can fully customize your trip with your preferred time and start and end locations. You also have the option to purchase a single ticket with our Royal Traveler Standard service where you can relax inside a luxury hotel lobby, rather than in a public depot or outside in the heat or cold.
How long is the trip?
The average trip between DC and NYC takes approximately 4-4.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
What stops are along the route?
When you select our Royal Traveler Direct you decide what stops to make. If you choose our single-ticket Royal Traveler Standard service, we will make one fifteen-minute rest stop along the way so you can grab food or use the restroom. Safety is of paramount importance at Royal Traveler and the stop has the added benefit of keeping our drivers fresh and alert for the entire trip.
Am I able to reserve an entire vehicle or multiple vehicles?

Is smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages permitted aboard Royal Traveler?
Smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibited during all trips.
Can I choose my own seat aboard Royal Traveler Standard service?
We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and do not assign seats.
Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for my child?
All children are required to have their own seat for the safety of all passengers on board.
Can you accommodate my disability?
Drivers will be happy to provide reasonable accommodations to any passengers with disabilities. Please note, however, that our assistance is limited by the vehicles that we operate. For example, while most of our vehicles can accommodate folding wheelchairs, other mobility devices or equipment may not fit. As such, you should contact Royal Traveler with any specific requests for disability accommodation propr to your trip.
Are pets allowed on Royal Traveler?
Consistent with ADA requirements, Royal Traveler is happy to allow service animals to accompany passengers when the service animal has been trained to do work or perform tasks directly related to the passenger’s disability. Pets (including emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals) are generally not permitted, though Royal Traveler reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy in advance of any trip on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?
Tickets are non-refundable, but if your plans change you may reschedule your reservation with at least 48 hour notice to Royal Traveler.
What should I bring with me prior to boarding?
Please have a hard copy or mobile version of your reservation confirmation and driver’s license or another form of photo ID ready to show the driver upon boarding. Royal Traveler encourages passengers to bring their headsets for use with their in-seat entertainment.
What is your luggage policy?
We allow one piece of luggage (up to 50 lbs) and one small personal item that must fit in the area around your feet. Our drivers will load your baggage for you while you comfortably wait aboard the vehicle. Please make sure all luggage is properly tagged and identifiable.
